Unity comes to Fedora

After the death of Gnome 2 there has not been much love showed to Gnome 3 by many users. While the new refreshed Unity that shipped with Ubuntu 12.04 was loved by many users.

Some people may say that Unity is only for Ubuntu , but open source means that anyone can use it like the way they want it to. The source code of Ubuntu’s creation Unity was always available its just that no one ported it to other Linux distributions. Luckily some people now ported it to Fedora.

If you are a Fedora user and want to try out Unity

download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/Ayatana/Fedora_17/.

So will we see more Linux distributions shipped with Unity? What do you think, leave your thoughts in the comment section.
